Warwick to Long Itchington.

Oxford, the city of dreaming spires is where we are off to now!!

We have started to move that way but yet again the weather has been stopping us at every turn.

We normally set off into a day like this thinking this is much more like it.

Although the odd shower soaks the roof every now and then, it is livable with.

But then it is business as usual as the clouds build once more, this lot turned into a major storm with thunder and lightning. Thus brightening our afternoons cowering below the deck.

Today (Wed, where is this week going?) had everyone we met warning us about torrential rain coming our way at 4 o'clock and weather warnings for flooding being issued by the Met office.
Now, you can call me cynical if you must but weather forecasters, in my opinion, could not forecast the time of day at a set time with an atomic clock, yet people hold such faith and confidence in what they say that they have actually been mooring up today waiting for the deluge at 4 o'clock.
A quick glance to the Sky's would have told them otherwise.
Rain has started to fall now just before six, whether it turns into the promised floods or not will be just another guess.

Hopefully back on the move tomorrow.............................
