Long Itchington to Stockton. 10 Locks.

I have added a "Gizmo" at the bottom of the pages , if you want to you can comment on it easily now.

Another quick walk to the village this morning, then we were off again into a very windy but dry day.

Quite a few of these buildings around here. D loved this one so we had to have a picture.

Starting the climb up Stockton Locks on the way to Napton Junction. A boat had just made the trip down through them all leaving every one "set" for us........easy.

Oi, Not that easy. A rare chance to sit in the sun close to the top locks, I suppose there will be murmurings of an "Indian Summer" from the weather people soon.

Very low water levels in some of the pounds, this one was down by at least two feet.
All that mud needed was a croc sitting on it.

This is the Kate Boats hire yard at the top of the locks, they seem to think that they can just block the canal with boats whenever they feel like it. That was a fairly tight squeeze through there, I cant help thinking that I should have given that boat a gentle nudge as we went through, but somebody else probably will today anyway.

Off for some fuel tomorrow then on to Oxford.

Until then..................................
