Water should definitely be on the outside!!!!!!








Whilst waiting for the good old coal boat "Gosty Hill" to arrive today, I thought i would give the engine room/shed a spring clean.

One job that I appear to have missed over the winter is to check the bilge in front of the engine compartment.
Sixteen ...yes Sixteen gallons of water had accumulated down there.

As Ubique doesn't leak and our water tanks and pipes are watertight this has got to be down to our main enemy at the moment............. condensation.
This is not just the bit of water you find on the windows, it can be rivulets running from the upper steel work and finding its way down to the bilges.

I certainly did not envisage sixteen gallons though!!!!
