Ellesmere.

Here is the Mere at Ellesmere.

All very nice and touristy, but there is a much better Mere just outside of town.

Blake mere is so much more picturesque but does not have the "benefit" of a road leading to it with a car park, rowing boats, trip boat and tea rooms.

Maybe that is not such a benefit after all.

The afore mentioned Tesco's here might just as well give me the money.

The valves on D's phone were not working as well as they should when we load it with coal and logs to get the steam up, therefore we went out looking to purchase a new fangled ear trumpet.

We found D a new Pay As You Go phone with Camera, Blue tooth and MP3 Player that cost the princely sum of twenty five pounds.
Putting ten pounds of credit on this phone, Tesco immediately put an extra twenty pounds of credit on it, plus triple club card points, plus half price calls and texts to five favourite numbers.

Looking to celebrate our good fortune we found our favourite spirit libation - costing nineteen pounds a bottle normally - at the unbelievable price of two for twenty five pounds.

Four packs of Heinz beans were buy one get two free.

I'll shut up now.

Until next time..................
