Staying Put At Hawkesbury.
I have just made a few changes to the Blog.
The first being that I have got those reaction boxes at the bottom of the page working again, so please tick away.
The second is, there will only be one page displayed at a time now, this is meant to increase the speed the Blog loads at. If you want to view older posts there is an "older posts" button at the bottom of the page, or you can use the archive feature on the right to find what you are looking for.
On with the Blog.
Once again we have woken up in what seems to be a different country, Its as black as your hat out there and the rain is sheeting down, Its the type of fine rain "that gets you really wet" according to Peter Kay ", he's not far wrong.
Memories of yesterday........ sunshine and smoke over calm waters,
open countryside and sweeping skyscape's,
followed by gardens that people must work very hard at.
Nearly all those houses had made a lot of use of the canal, some towns we chug through just put up a fence or a wall and shut the water out, this seems to be a much better option to me.
Now here's an interesting sign, surprisingly not one you see very often.
Well, that's all for now, this will be a very lazy Sunday afternoon sat in front of the fire with the telly on. There is only one thing slightly wrong though, someone wants to watch, of all things,.........Calamity Jane. Doh!
Until next time......................
