Wednesday/Thursday 1st/2nd April 09. 2 locks.

Reception, Reception weve got reception.

Never believe someone who sells "Dongles".

We have moved down into the centre of the City of Worcester

and here we are.
Prime location this, those apartments start at £180k for one bedroom not overlooking the canal. Each of those balconies this side are for two apartments, cosy.
We have been giving Ubique a bit of a make over while we are moored here, a full polish from stem to stern and all the brass work has had a good going over. One more side to go and shes ready for the cruising season.

On the way in we passed this interesting construction, an invisible monorail perhaps?

We finally got our water here, this was a really friendly yard where the staff seemed genuinely interested to see a boat coming through. They then told us that all these boats were hired out and leaving the yard this weekend. This is the second yard on this canal to tell us that.
A busy week ahead.

This was the sign on the exit of the yard.
Not too sure if that's funny or alarming.

Spot the lock!
This is what being on the canals in a City is all about, no one seems to know you are there.
That bridge ahead is at the end of a shopping centre that is at least four to five times the size of Canterbury (my poor feet).
The man on the right is building a wall for a garden, life goes on as we chug by.

Having caught up,
until tomorrow................
