After we had moored last night we were inundated with hire boats and even had to move to get another one in.
Since we have been out here this is the first time we have had to moor this close to anyone else. A strange experience but one we will have to get used to.
Right, now the training is working.
Look at the shine on that roof! worth all the polishing after all.
A Tulip tree says D.
Its a Magnolia says I.
Who's right then? Theres 5p riding on this.
As we passed through the Dunhampstead tunnel again, there was something quite large splashing about in the water ahead of us. I thought it was a Pike as there are loads of them in the canal.
Getting closer it swam by the side of the boat,
our first Otter sighting, No flipping camera close to hand as usual.
Canal Picture..............
There are a few bridges along this stretch that have had this plastic mesh fitted to stop the masonary falling on your head. They really are falling apart and will soon be gone which seems to be a real shame considering the age of them.
Climbing ever closer to the "Monster" that is the Tardebigge, the sky took on a very forboding look.
We have moored for the night at the bottom of the flight and have even got a signal on the TV. Now that is a rare occurance!!
The flight revisited tomorrow..............

I'd call it a magnolia, but I believe some people do call them tulip trees. So maybe you're both right!
Hi Adam,
You are right and no one has won the 5p.
Regards.
