Stopping at Long Itchington.

You wont need three guesses to know why we are staying here today.

A quick (half an hour) walk to the village for the paper got us wet and blown to bits.

Now, we are going to officially declare that the summer is over aboard Ubique as far as we are concerned, because:

There are Conkers everywhere, Chestnuts too.

We could see our breath yesterday afternoon.

The leaves are falling like snow.

The male Ducks are starting to change into their winter plumage.

The mornings are chilly and we are looking to find a bag of coal or two,

and last but by no means least, a shop in Leamington is stacked up to the gunwhales with Christmas decorations, crackers and tinsel. AAAAAHhhhhhhhh!!!

Where we are at the moment is very sheltered from the elements, but whilst affording us protection from the worst of the weather we are very limited on phone and Internet connection, hence no pictures or answering of the phone.

As soon as we can move on we should be back in contact.

Until then.............................
