Ellesmere To Bettisfield, 1 Tunnel.

Time to push the reset button.....

Hello, Hello can you hear me?
Yes!
Look, we have been feeling a bit low recently and don't really feel we are reaching our full potential.
Have you tried switching yourselves off and then back on again?
No!
Try it!
Bit drastic!
Ok.........try the reset button.

Whats that?
Forget the wind, forget the rain, just get out there and remember what it is all about.

No sooner said than done.

There was no way we were going to stay another day in Ellesmere, being tied to the side for so long is just not right for us.
The wind was still giving it large but the rain was not too strong so off we went.

It was only two hours later that we moored in the middle of ruralness but in those two hours we had collected enough wood to see us through for a while and had reaffirmed our love of this life.

Until next time......................

Good for you, are you on one of the SUCS http://www.shropshireunion.org.uk/ moorings,? I think those guys should all get an OBE for what they have done for boaters

Hi Brian & Diana,

Yes we are and I fully agree with you.
There are some fantastic spots along here lovingly looked after, they can put a lot of the other canals to shame.

Regards Chris.
