Stone to Weston 5 Locks, then Weston to Rugeley 4 Locks.

Another two days go by where I could not upload any pictures to the site.

Still, we have made it down to Rugeley where we are tied alongside as the rain beats onto the roof once more. I have worked out that in the last twenty one days it has rained for twenty of them, we have actually run out of coal and the log box is looking a bit sorry for itself.

When we did get on the move we very soon caught up with the world and his wife doing the same thing.

Believe it or not this is a very rare scene along the canals, for even as far as we have travelled now we have seen no pig farms. Lots of Sheep and lots of Cows but no Pigs. There were only two Pigs here so I suppose that doesn't count either.

How about this old Horse drawn Caravan? It was immaculate and on its own trailer probably ready to be taken to shows. It looked so tiny you couldn't imagine trying to live in one.

However bad the weather has been up here the news reports and pictures of Swans swimming around the tents at a Cornwall camping site show it is far worse for them.

At least we are in a boat!

Until the next time.......................
