Bowmans Bridge to No Mans Land near Curdworth on the Birmingham & Fazeley.

Another good day for chugging and boat dodging, a game that we are getting quite good at.

We did get a good clobbering from an Anglo Welsh hire boat though, I just could not get away from him, we must have been magnetised at the time.

As we move ever closer to Birmingham, industry and rail links are closing in on us creating views like the one above.

On the other side of that embankment is a very small but well cared for allotment that looks totally out of place in this location.

We passed fellow Bloggers Waterway Routes, they make and sell extremely good DVD's of the waterways that they travel, although reading their Blog rain has stopped play at the moment as the camera just can't swim.

That old pill box peeking out from behind the bridge is truly in the middle of nowhere, leaving you to only guess at its usefulness in days gone by.

Fazeley Junction, another main canal joining that quite frankly was a complete let down after Fradley Junction.

A couple of bridges and a huge row of very tired looking narrow boats moored alongside, I'm not sure what we were expecting but that wasn't it..

Not far from the junction is this very quirky foot bridge, the guide books can shed no light as to why it has been built like this, but it looks good and must be a lot of fun for the kids.

Awakened by pouring rain again this morning so we will be staying here for the day, Its still raining now at 12:15, O Joy!

Until tomorrow.................................
