Wednesday 18 March 09. Radford Semele to Budbrooke Junction 4 locks, 4 hours.

Another glorious day, T shirt and strappy top weather, (Ill leave it to you as to who wore what).

Left the mooring with a slight mist hanging in the air behind us. Today was going to be about having a mooch around Leamington Spa, picking up a few bits and pieces finding a mooring and staying a few days or a bit longer. We did stop and have a mooch, found it very busy for a Wednesday, clean, packed with shops so we got what we wanted. Some really fine old buildings in amongst the new. Could have stayed, but once back on the boat, its lets see whats round the next corner and the next, and the next, we had to physically stop ourselves at the bottom of the Hatton flight or we would be well on our way up it by now.

Back to this morning,

No such thing as the Nanny state or health and safety here, just use your common sense and don't fall off.
They could put up a sign though, I thought of "Falling off here might hurt".

Canal picture.

Shot this one off the hip as we passed through someones garden. Won't do that again.

Alpacas in a field, not your everyday occurance but they were cute!

The canal here was lined with luxury apartments built to look like the warehouses of old, this one though had an unusual turret sort of thing on one end.

Another tree, D says its a Weeping Willow, I still say its a tree, but Im just being awkward.

Through the houses once more and on to our mooring for the night.
Till the morrow.........
