Hopwas To Grendon, 2 Locks.

Back on very familiar territory....and some nutcases in a ball!

Leaving Hopwas in our nice shiny wake we were soon at a very quiet and almost deserted Fazeley junction. Normally you would have Bob Hope to no hope of getting any where near here but today you could moor wherever you wanted......Very strange.

We squeezed onto the end of the water/refuse point out side of the BW offices here and offloaded a few sacks.
BW do seem to have an awful lot of very posh offices dotted around the country.

Away through the very slow filling but very relaxing Glascote locks to the equally slow filling water point at the top of the pair.
This is always a good time for showers and getting the washing done and rinsed - provided there are no other boats waiting - but the water was coming out of our taps at twice the speed it was coming out from the hose, (can I say hose now?) leaving us there for quite some time.

A shut your eyes and hope nothing is coming towards you under that bridge moment.

What bridge?

This one!

Right then!
You climb into this ball and I will push you down the hill towards that passing boat on the canal.
Is it safe?
Trust me, I'm a doctor.

There you go, all those bales of hay stopped you.

Hello,.....hello,......helloooo.

Until next time...........................
