Braunston to Rugby. 3 Locks.

We have been up and down this stretch for so long now, we are getting to know the trees by name.

Mind you, it hasn't taken them long to lose all their leaves.

Back at the park mooring in Rugby, where last night, we were treated to a huge firework display from just about every house around here. No Trick or Treaters came to visit though. As we had no sweets of any kind aboard, that was probably a good thing.

Today (Sunday) has been wet and windy to say the least. The "Rain before Seven, Fine by Eleven" piece of weather lore worked really well though, the rain gave up by eleven fifteen just leaving the gale of wind.

After a good days wood collecting on the way here, I have still not been able to get the chainsaw in action. Maybe tomorrow.

Until then......................
