Grindley To Bettisfield.

Fools to ourselves really........

Although we are going to stay up here for the next month or so and need to slow down a bit, we could not resist cruising on a day like today.

T shirts and sunglasses were the order of the day as we worked our way through the numerous lift bridges along here.

Another nest of "Yellow Perils" but this time it is the boatyard who are the problem.
Four abreast on a canal this narrow is taking the Micky, that gap above is so narrow you have to rub along the bank and the side of the "Peril" just to get through.

Whixall moss.
This a huge area that is full of.........Ferns!
I suppose there is some moss in there somewhere as numerous signs point out a route through to see the best ones.

Mosquito's are also a feature and D believes she swatted one as it went for her with an exposed proboscis, I, on the other hand, stroked my chin thoughtfully whilst nodding.

Until next time........................

Spend some time on the Montgomery Canal. We loved it: it's beautiful, and The Navigation at Maesbury Marsh is very welcoming and serves excellent food.
